This is the story of a group of passionate Bladers who follow their dreams on an unforgettable journey to the top.
Valt Aoi is crazy about Beyblade. Valt's best friend since childhood, Shu Kurenai, is hailed as a Beyblade prodigy and has already been named as one of the National Beyblade Tournament's Final Four. Inspired by Shu's accomplishments, Valt sets his sights on reaching this year's national tournament. But to get to the big leagues, he must first emerge victorious from the district tournament – no easy feat, given the tough opponents standing in his way. Determined to win, Valt aims to make it to the championship, where he hopes to battle Shu and move on to the national tournament. As he battles, Valt broadens his circle of friends and reaches new heights. Without even realizing it, he has begun to dream of becoming the best Blader in the world.

Where it came from
Beyblade Burst premiered in 2016 as the third generation of the long-running Beyblade franchise, produced by studio OLM. The series was developed to revitalize the brand by introducing a 'burst' mechanic, where the spinning tops physically dismantle during high-impact battles. This design shift aimed to inject more dramatic stakes into the competitive play, mirroring the show's intense narrative focus on growth, friendship, and the evolution of the sport.
The animation and character design were crafted to appeal to a modern audience, blending traditional action tropes with stylized visuals that highlight the mechanical complexity of the tops. The series was well-received for its energetic pacing and strong character arcs, successfully bridging the gap between the tabletop toy experience and the digital media landscape of the mid-2010s. It solidified itself as a central pillar of OLM's portfolio, sustaining a multi-year run through its engaging blend of sport and strategy.
