Beanie’s Daily

Beanie’s Daily is an original net animation produced by the studio Making Animation. Released in the digital-first environment characteristic of early 2010s independent web series, the project was created to explore minimalist storytelling through short-form visual media. It emerged during a period when small studios were increasingly leveraging the accessibility of the internet to bypass traditional broadcasting gatekeepers, allowing for experimental aesthetic choices that prioritized stylistic consistency over high-fidelity rendering.

The design of the series leans into a subdued, approachable aesthetic, focusing on character-driven comedy and lighthearted slice-of-life vignettes. The creative team at Making Animation sought to capture a sense of daily routine through a stylized, clean visual language, which resonated with a niche audience interested in burgeoning digital content platforms. Upon its debut, the series was received as a charming example of low-budget, high-intent animation, earning modest appreciation for its deliberate pacing and character expressiveness.
