Where it came from
Beyblade Burst QuadDrive was produced by OLM, Inc. and released in 2021 as a continuation of the long-running Beyblade Burst anime franchise. It was designed to support the tie-in toy line of the same name, which introduced a new core gimmick centered on four-in-one 'QuadDrive' tops. These tops were specifically engineered to be modular, allowing players to customize their performance configurations to adapt to the game's evolving playstyles.
The series follows the protagonist, Bel Daizora, and his partner, Destruction Belfyre, as they navigate the QuadDrive system. The animation style reflects the high-energy, fast-paced aesthetic established by its predecessors, focusing on dynamic battles and tactical maneuvers. While it functioned primarily as a promotional vehicle for Hasbro and Takara Tomy's physical toys, the series was received by fans as a colorful, action-oriented entry that maintained the franchise's emphasis on competitive spirit and technological mastery.
