Neo Kyoto is now a city in ruins, looking nothing like it did before. The people are being rounded up by the King's servants, known as KUGE, and deposited into "Barrels" to steal their magical power. All in order to keep the King going...
And now a girl appears, with the KUGE in pursuit. She's the former King, Kurabe Kikka. Although she was once known as the most powerful King in Neo Kyoto's history, even Kikka is helpless against the KUGE, and is constantly on the run from them. After all, Kikka has no Build-Divide deck in hand. Day after day, she continues to flee with no respite, consumed by all kinds of regrets. Now that she's on the brink of despair, who should reach out a helping hand to her but...?
In the ruins of Neo Kyoto, the two girls take each other by the hand. And now, their battle is about to begin... the one that will lead them to the person that they both cherish.

Where it came from
Build-Divide -#FFFFFF- Code White serves as the second season of the multimedia project developed by Aniplex, which uniquely bridges the gap between a collectible card game and an original anime series. Launched in 2022, the series explores a dystopian Tokyo governed by the Build-Divide game, where the protagonist Teruhito Yuube fights to challenge the King. The narrative expansion in this season deepens the world-building established in the initial arc, focusing on the psychological and tactical stakes inherent in a society dictated by card battles.
The visual design and animation for the series were produced by Liden Films, aiming to capture the high-contrast, stylized aesthetic typical of modern competitive trading card anime. The character designs maintain a sleek, sharp appearance intended to appeal to the demographic of strategy game enthusiasts. While the series received modest attention compared to larger-scale shonen projects, it was noted for its commitment to integrating authentic card game mechanics into its narrative structure, reflecting a deliberate effort to synchronize broadcast entertainment with the physical hobby of the TCG market.
