Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 Picture Drama TURN 12.06 - Last Moratorium

Released as part of the home media collection for the second season of the Code Geass series, this picture drama served as a bridge between the intense narrative beats of the show’s final act. Produced by Sunrise and directed by Goro Taniguchi, these shorts were designed to expand upon the internal lives of the core cast, providing additional character depth that the tight broadcast pacing could not always accommodate. The visual style maintains the distinct, elongated character designs of CLAMP, the celebrated creative collective responsible for the series' aesthetic identity.

This specific entry, TURN 12.06, titled Last Moratorium, explores the contemplative moments of the characters against the backdrop of the show's complex geopolitical themes. While the main series is noted for its high-stakes mecha action and political maneuvering, these picture dramas were received by fans as essential, quieter companions to the main story. They reflect the studio's broader effort during the late 2000s to offer comprehensive world-building through supplementary media, catering to an audience that deeply invested in the personal arcs of Lelouch vi Britannia and his circle.
