Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion III - Glorification

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion III - Glorification serves as the concluding installment in a trilogy of compilation films released between 2017 and 2018. Produced by Studio Sunrise, these films were created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the original anime series while providing a remastered and slightly restructured narrative for both returning fans and a new generation of viewers. The production team utilized new animation sequences and revised dialogue to streamline the complex political and supernatural plotlines of the original television broadcast.

The character designs, originally conceived by the manga artist collective CLAMP, remain the aesthetic core of this cinematic entry. By refining the visual quality of the original footage and condensing the high-stakes rebellion led by Lelouch vi Britannia, the film aimed to distill the series' central themes of moral ambiguity, revolutionary fervor, and personal sacrifice. Upon its release, the trilogy was received as a comprehensive companion to the television run, appreciated for its enhanced production values and its ability to consolidate the sprawling scope of the Geass narrative.
