Confetti's Yacht

Confetti's Yacht was produced by Studio Gohan as a centerpiece of their late-stage experimental animation series. Created during a period of transition for the studio, the piece was intended to showcase the company's shift toward high-fidelity background artistry and whimsical environmental design. It reflects the distinct aesthetic values of the period, where narrative focus often shared space with intricate, handcrafted isometric settings.

The design of the yacht is attributed to the studio’s lead art director, who sought to blend nautical motifs with a surrealist color palette to evoke a sense of wandering luxury. Upon its release, the work was noted by critics for its precise linework and atmospheric composition. While it remains a niche item within the studio's broader catalog, it is recognized by enthusiasts as a technical exercise that demonstrated the creative potential of the studio's proprietary rendering techniques at the time.
