Where it came from
Delicious Party♡Precure: Yumemiru♡Okosama Lunch! was released in 2022 as the cinematic counterpart to the nineteenth installment in Toei Animation's long-running magical girl franchise. The film was developed during the series' focus on the theme of food and gratitude, serving as a companion piece that expanded on the culinary motifs central to the television show. The narrative centers on a visit to the Dreamy Children's Lunch theme park, utilizing the franchise's established formula of energetic, high-stakes action punctuated by heartfelt lessons about community and nourishment.
The film was directed by Akifumi Zako, a veteran of the Precure series, with character designs helmed by Hitomi Matsuura.
