DENONBU Novel: Shibuya-hen PV

The Denonbu Shibuya-hen promotional video was produced by Bandai Namco Entertainment to coincide with the multimedia franchise's expansion into light novel format. Launched as part of the broader Denonbu project, the video serves as a stylized, high-energy introduction to the Shibuya-centric narrative arc, designed to bridge the gap between the music-focused origins of the series and its serialized storytelling expansion.

The visual direction emphasizes the franchise’s signature aesthetic, which blends contemporary electronic dance music culture with vibrant, urban-inspired character designs. By utilizing dynamic animation techniques typical of modern promotional ONA (Original Net Animation) content, the studio aimed to capture the kinetic atmosphere of Shibuya while establishing the narrative stakes for the novel’s readers. It was received by the existing fan base as a crucial piece of world-building that solidified the transition of these characters into more complex narrative roles.
