Where it came from
Don't Give Up! is a short-form ONA (original net animation) produced by Shengying Animation, a studio based in China. The series emerged during a period of significant growth for the Chinese animation industry, characterized by a focus on moral storytelling, educational themes, and accessible digital distribution platforms aimed at younger audiences.
The design of the series centers on a bright, approachable aesthetic typical of early-to-mid 2010s web animation, prioritizing clear character archetypes and straightforward narrative arcs. While the production is relatively obscure compared to major international franchises, it serves as a representative example of the studio's efforts to create content that emphasizes perseverance and positive social values within the digital landscape.
