This song deals with the Japanese mythological creature, the Baku. Baku's are known to devour the nightmares/dreams of human beings. In this song the baku is portrayed by Len. Here, he entices an innocent girl who has trouble sleeping by taking away her bad dreams. He also "seals the spell" with a pinky promise and then later a kiss. In the end, "when the full moon rises" he steals her soul and takes her empty body to his "monochrome world."

Where it came from
The Dream Eating Monochrome Baku is a sculptural piece inspired by the traditional Japanese spirit of the same name, a creature from folklore said to consume nightmares. The item reflects a contemporary artistic movement that blends traditional motifs with minimalist, monochromatic aesthetics, often favored by creators working in designer toy culture or boutique art galleries to evoke a sense of quiet, ethereal mystery.
The design prioritizes clean lines and a restricted color palette, eschewing complex patterns to emphasize the creature's silhouette and form. This choice was intended to ground the mythological figure in a modern, sophisticated context, allowing it to serve as both a decorative object and a contemplative symbol. It has generally been received as a refined take on classic kigurumi-style artistry, appealing to collectors who value subtlety and narrative-driven design.
