efficus: Kono Omoi o Kimi ni...

Kono Omoi o Kimi ni... was produced by the animation studio Magic Bus and released as an original video animation (OVA) in 1998. It stands as a representative example of the late-1990s adult-oriented anime market, which frequently utilized the OVA format to bypass the constraints of television broadcast standards, allowing for more experimental or niche thematic explorations in both narrative and visual style.

The production relies on the house style of Magic Bus, a studio known for its long history of contract work and collaborative projects within the industry. As an entry in the Efficus brand, the work adheres to the conventional aesthetic trends of the era, focusing on character-driven melodrama and standard cel-animation techniques typical of the pre-digital transition in Japan. It remains largely a deep-cut title, primarily preserved by collectors of late-90s direct-to-video Japanese animation.
