Ensemble Stars!! Reminiscences Selection ELEMENT

Ensemble Stars!! Reminiscences Selection ELEMENT was released in 2023 as an ONA adaptation tied to the popular Ensemble Stars!! multimedia franchise. Produced by Dandelion Animation Studio, the series serves as a narrative bridge for the game's deep lore, specifically focusing on the pivotal 'ELEMENT' storyline. This arc explores the past of the unit fine and the formation of the school's historical dynamics, providing fans with a visual expansion of the character histories established in the mobile game's written scenarios.

The animation design prioritizes faithfulness to the established character aesthetics of the game, utilizing 3D CG techniques to maintain consistency with the performance models familiar to players. The project was conceived as a way to flesh out emotional backstories that were previously only accessible through text-heavy game chapters. Reception has been primarily concentrated within the established fan base, who appreciated the technical translation of the game's dramatic narrative beats into a formal episodic format.
