Provenance

Where it came from

Force Live is a concert performance series tied to the Uta no Prince-sama franchise, produced by the Japanese studio Broccoli. The project originated as a rhythm game and visual novel series, eventually expanding into massive live-event spectacles that utilize sophisticated holographic projection technology to represent the fictional idols as living performers on stage.

The production design focuses on simulating a realistic stadium atmosphere, complete with coordinated light shows and choreographed routines that mirror the series' musical compositions. Fans and critics have noted the technical ambition of these performances, which aim to blur the line between traditional stage production and digital animation, cementing the franchise's influence in the virtual idol genre.
