A short anime commemorating the release of the BL manga's second volume.
Kotone is a fudanshi. One day while he was buying BL manga outside of a manga stand, a truck loses control and kills him with BL manga all over him. To his surprise, he wakes up in an Asian ancient-looking palace. A man named Nagi, that is half serpent, tells him that he is now his Miko. They need to have sex in order for Nagi to become a higher being and become a Dragon. Kotone knows everything about BL and he realizes that he will be the bottom. Kotone will use his knowledge of BL to not fall in love and not a bottom in this Isekai world.

Where it came from
Fudanshi Shoukan: Isekai de Shinjuu ni Hameraremashita was originally produced as a serialized web manga by Mutsuki Fumino before being adapted into a short-form ONA by Studio AQUA ARIS in 2020. The project emerged during a period of increasing interest in light novel and manga adaptations centered on the isekai genre, specifically focusing on subverting tropes through a 'fudanshi'—a male fan of boys' love media—protagonist who finds himself transported into a fantasy world.
The animation style adopted by AQUA ARIS for this adaptation leans into a simplified, comedic aesthetic intended to capture the lighthearted and self-aware nature of the source material. As a short-form ONA, the series was designed for digital consumption, prioritizing quick pacing and expressive character interactions to reflect the manga's internal monologue-heavy style. It was received primarily by niche audiences interested in the intersection of isekai fantasy and meta-commentary on BL fandom culture.
