Fuusen Inu Tinny: Nandaka Fushigi na - Kyouryuu no Kuni!

Fuusen Inu Tinny: Nandaka Fushigi na - Kyouryuu no Kuni! was produced in 2017 by the studio Craftar as a feature-length expansion of the popular Fuusen Inu Tinny series. The project was created to bring the charming aesthetic of Kenjiro Sano’s original character designs, which feature balloon-like animals in pastel, minimalist palettes, to a broader cinematic audience. The film focuses on the protagonist Tinny as he navigates a whimsical world filled with prehistoric creatures, maintaining the gentle, educational tone of the television series.

The film represents an early collaborative effort by Craftar to blend traditional character-based storytelling with sophisticated digital animation techniques. Under the direction of the studio's team, the production sought to preserve the softness and roundness of the original illustrations while providing enough depth to sustain a film narrative. Upon release, it was received primarily as a family-oriented feature that successfully transitioned the established visual identity of the brand from short-form broadcast segments to a more immersive environment for young viewers.
