G-Best: G-taste Best Selection

Released in 2010 by studio AIC Plus+, G-Best: G-taste Best Selection functions as a compilation volume derived from the G-taste OVA series, which was itself based on the popular manga series by Hiroki Yagami. The project emerged during a period of sustained interest in the adult-oriented erotic comedy genre, aiming to distill the most notable sequences from the previously released direct-to-video animations into a singular showcase of the character designs and animation style typical of the era's light-hearted ecchi productions.

The character designs draw heavily from Yagami’s original aesthetic, characterized by a soft, highly polished look intended to emphasize the playful and flirtatious nature of the series' female cast. Upon release, the title served primarily as a fan-focused retrospective, appealing to those who followed the franchise's trajectory through its various iterations in manga and animation. While the production is viewed as a niche entry, it reflects the visual standards and output strategies AIC Plus+ employed to maintain visibility for their established intellectual properties.
