Go! Go! 575

Go! Go! 575 is a 2014 television anime series produced by Sega, emerging from the broader Project 575 multimedia initiative. This project was designed to promote the 575 rhythmic composition style, a traditional Japanese poetic form consisting of seventeen-syllable structures. The anime serves as a lighthearted expansion of the franchise's original smartphone application and PlayStation Vita rhythm game, centering on high school students who form a club dedicated to creating haiku-inspired lyrics.

The series was produced by studios C2C and Lay-duce, utilizing a vibrant, accessible aesthetic to engage a younger audience with the cultural nuances of tanka and haiku poetry. The animation was directed by Motonori Sakakibara, who focused on capturing the everyday charms of the Kamakura setting. Upon its release, the series was received primarily as a niche promotional vehicle for the overarching Project 575 brand, noted more for its experimental integration of traditional Japanese literature into modern otaku culture than for mainstream narrative critical acclaim.
