HANA-Doll*: Reinterpretation of Flowering

The HANA-Doll*: Reinterpretation of Flowering series represents a sophisticated evolution in the multimedia project produced by Movic. Emerging from the franchise's exploration of performance, idol culture, and internal transformation, this 2025 iteration focuses on reimagining the core thematic arcs of the HANA-Doll universe. It serves as a visual and narrative expansion, designed to deepen the emotional connection between the characters' growth and the audience through refined animation techniques and a more complex storytelling structure.

The creative direction for this series emphasizes a shift toward highly stylized character designs that highlight the delicate, floral-inspired aesthetic iconic to the brand. Movic commissioned a dedicated production team to ensure the visual fidelity matched the artistic maturity expected by long-term followers of the series. Upon its announcement, the project was positioned as a hallmark release for 2025, receiving notice for its ambition in bridging high-concept performance art with the established character dynamics that have defined the franchise since its inception.
