Where it came from
Happy Forest was released in 2015 as a short-form original net animation produced by Marza Animation Planet, a studio primarily known for its work on high-end computer-generated imagery within the video game and film sectors. The project served as a technical showcase for the studio's animation capabilities, focusing on atmospheric world-building and character design through a whimsical, woodland aesthetic.
The animation was crafted to demonstrate the studio's proficiency in rendering lush, detailed environments using modern digital tools. While intended as a standalone creative exercise rather than a commercial series, it gained recognition within the animation community for its polished visual style and the fluid character motion that defined Marza’s output during that period.
