Happy fluffy time

Happy Fluffy Time was produced by the students and faculty of the Tokyo University of the Arts, or Geidai, a premier institution for animation in Japan. The project emerged from the university's rigorous animation department, which emphasizes experimental storytelling and traditional craft. It was conceived as a showcase of the creative potential within the Geidai program, aimed at exploring whimsical, character-driven narratives through high-quality hand-drawn animation techniques.

The film is defined by a deliberately soft, pastel-heavy aesthetic designed to evoke a sense of comfort and childlike wonder. The creative team focused on fluid motion and expressive character design, aiming to balance surreal visual flourishes with a gentle, accessible tone. Upon its release within the festival circuit and university showcases, the film was noted for its technical polish and the distinctive artistic voice characteristic of the Geidai Animation lab's training.
