High School DxD BorN: Maximum Titillation OVA

The High School DxD BorN: Maximum Titillation OVA was released in 2015 as a bonus bundled with the limited edition of the ninth volume of the light novel series. It serves as a direct expansion to the third season of the anime adaptation, which was produced by the studio TNK and directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa. The episode maintains the franchise's signature blend of high-fantasy supernatural action and fan-service-heavy comedy, functioning as a narrative bridge designed to offer fans additional character-focused vignettes that did not fit within the standard television broadcast run.

The design and production of the OVA follow the aesthetic established by character designer Junji Goto, who adapted the original illustrations by Miyama-Zero for the screen. By utilizing the OAD (Original Animation Disc) format, the studio was granted more creative leeway to lean into the series' provocative themes, which were central to the show's identity and commercial success. Upon its release, the episode was received primarily as a collectible novelty for dedicated followers of the series, reinforcing the franchise's strategy of utilizing physical media bundles to drive interest in the underlying light novel source material.
