A collaboration between the Eagle Talon franchise and Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san. The former is promoting the latter's TV series. In a tongue-in-cheek style Yoshida-kun "explains" what Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san is about but gets it hilariously wrong much to the shock and frustration of Honda-san himself, such that never getting his name right.

Where it came from
Honda-san × Taka no Tsume originated as a short-form promotional collaboration between the popular bookshop-themed anime Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san and the long-running flash animation franchise Eagle Talon, or Taka no Tsume. Produced by DLE Inc., the studio behind the latter, the project was designed to capitalize on the idiosyncratic humor of both series by merging Honda-san's retail-focused anxieties with the surreal, low-budget comedic style of Eagle Talon’s villainous secret society.
The collaboration was conceived as a marketing exercise to generate buzz for the broader franchise through social media channels and streaming platforms. By integrating the characters from Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san into the chaotic world of Eagle Talon, the designers aimed to reach a cross-section of fans who appreciate deconstructive, meta-fictional comedy. The production was well-received within the niche online community for its sharp self-awareness and the seamless blending of two distinct character art styles.
