Junior High student Nao's brother complex is so strong, it's almost at the point of incest. She's determined to make her brother, High School student Shuusuke, see her as a woman. So determined, that she goes as far as going into his room to throw away all his non-incest related porn. But as she's looking for his porno stash, she finds a photo album... and she's not in any of his childhood pictures. What is going on?

Where it came from
Released in 2011 by Starchild Records, I don't like my big brother at all!! is a television series adaptation based on the light novel series by Akira. The project emerged during a period of significant growth for light novel-to-anime adaptations in Japan, focusing on the comedic and often chaotic dynamics of domestic sibling relationships. It was produced with the intent to capture a lighthearted, slice-of-life aesthetic that resonated with contemporary trends in otaku culture.
The series' visual design and tone were crafted to highlight the slapstick elements of the original source material. It centers on the interactions between the protagonist and her older brother, utilizing stylistic choices typical of early 2010s comedy anime to emphasize character expressions and comedic timing. Upon its release, the series was received primarily as a niche title, finding its audience among fans of character-driven comedy and domestic-themed animation.
