Where it came from
I Want to End this Love Game was produced by Felix Film and premiered in 2026. As a television series adaptation within the contemporary romantic comedy landscape, it fits into the studio's broader efforts to expand its repertoire of character-driven narratives. The project emerged during a period of high demand for lighthearted, trope-subverting anime that explores the complexities of modern romantic dynamics.
The series draws on established genre tropes common to Japanese serialized storytelling, focusing on the interplay between its protagonists. While specific details regarding the primary character designers are often credited to the studio's in-house creative team, the production aimed for a polished aesthetic consistent with modern digital animation standards to capture the nuances of its central tension.
