Based on the manga by Musubi Onigiri.
Ookami had her skirt swiped by the rumored "skirt bandit." Her teacher Akagashira happened to be passing by and came to Ookami's rescue. Where it came from
I Want to be His Prey is a 2020 ONA produced by Peak Hunt, a studio noted for its stylized, atmospheric approach to digital animation. Emerging during a period of increased global interest in niche streaming content, the project was developed to explore themes of tension and pursuit, utilizing a limited-palette aesthetic that emphasizes shadow and character expression over complex background detail.
The animation reflects a minimalist design philosophy, likely aimed at creating an immersive and somewhat claustrophobic viewing experience. By focusing on sharp, angular character designs and rhythmic pacing, the production team sought to elevate the short-form storytelling format. While primarily distributed through online platforms, it garnered notice within animation enthusiast circles for its distinct visual identity and technical execution within the ONA medium.
