Ichinichi ni Shite Narazu

Ichinichi ni Shite Narazu, which translates to 'Not Built in a Day,' was produced by Studio GEEKTOYS and released in 2021 as a short-form original net animation. Created in the context of the Japanese government's 'Go To' campaign, the project was designed to promote domestic tourism and local economies following the widespread travel restrictions caused by the global health crisis. Its tone and narrative structure are grounded in the promotional goal of encouraging viewers to rediscover the appeal of regional travel within Japan.

The animation serves as a promotional vehicle rather than a traditional entertainment series, characterized by a clean, approachable aesthetic typical of contemporary digital shorts. While it does not feature a widely publicized lead director or auteur, the production reflects the studio's focus on efficient, visually fluid storytelling. It was received primarily as a piece of commissioned institutional media, functioning effectively as an accessible advertisement that prioritizes regional landmarks and cultural heritage over complex character arcs.
