Inazuma Eleven Go: Galaxy

Inazuma Eleven Go: Galaxy was produced by the animation studio OLM and broadcast in Japan beginning in 2013 as the final chapter in the Go sub-series of the popular soccer-themed franchise. It follows the protagonist Arion Sherwind as he leads a team of inexperienced players—Earth Eleven—into an intergalactic tournament, moving the narrative from high-stakes domestic competition to a science-fiction space epic. This shift was intended to revitalize the series' formula, though it remains a polarizing entry for fans who preferred the more grounded, school-centric roots of the original saga.

The character designs were overseen by Level-5, maintaining the franchise's signature aesthetic characterized by expressive, angular features and vibrant, uniform-coded color palettes. The series sought to balance the intense, superpowered 'hissatsu' techniques that defined the brand with a darker, more ensemble-focused character drama. While it was well-received for its ambitious scope and innovative animation sequences, the series marked a period of transition for the developer as they began to shift their focus toward new intellectual properties, signaling the end of a long-standing era in the franchise's broadcast history.
