But suddenly a lot of little objects appear and start attacking the stadium. They were the little robots "LBX", a technology never saw before in that world. Tenma and his friends try to respond to the attack, but the little robots continue to appear one after another, until Yamano Ban appears to save them. Where it came from
Released in 2012, Inazuma Eleven GO vs Danball Senki W serves as a feature-length crossover between two of Level-5’s most prominent multimedia franchises. Produced by OLM, the film was designed to capitalize on the simultaneous popularity of the Inazuma Eleven soccer-themed RPG series and the Danball Senki miniature robot combat series. The narrative brings the protagonists of both universes together to confront a shared threat, effectively acting as a promotional spectacle intended to cross-pollinate the fanbases of two high-profile Japanese children's media properties.
The film’s aesthetic reflects the distinct character design styles of its respective source materials, maintaining the high-energy, cel-shaded visual language familiar to television viewers of the time. The production was overseen by OLM, a studio well-versed in adapting Level-5’s complex, lore-heavy projects into cohesive visual experiences. While primarily aimed at younger audiences, the release was received as a milestone in Level-5’s brand synergy strategy, showcasing the company's ability to orchestrate large-scale, multi-property events within the competitive anime movie landscape of the early 2010s.
