In the year 2010 AD, Hyper Hurricanes born concurrently all over the world caused severe damage. Five billion people lost their lives, decreasing the world's population to 3 billion. Existing economies and militaries were wiped out. Countries were frozen under solid ice, plains sank beneath seas, the world was changed dramatically.
Human civilization enters a chaotic era. Poverty flourished outside of these ecomomic zones and slums were widespread. The ruling class called themselves Logos and maintained their position by force of arms. They call the poor Revenus, who are exiled to live outside the special economic areas.
Time has passed since then. Katsuragi Jo and Tsurasawa Jin, escape from Phantom, a force organised to watch Revenus and to suppress renegade elements of the Logos, taking with them a mysterious girl, Noto Sana. There are many who are interested in her, all with their own reasons.

Where it came from
Innocent Venus was produced by Brain's Base and released by Bandai Visual in 2006 as a twelve-episode original anime series. Set in a near-future Japan divided by economic disparity, the story follows two brothers caught in a conflict between an elite ruling class and the disaffected populace. The project was intended to blend high-octane mechanical action with a character-driven drama, reflecting the studio's interest in exploring social stratification through a science fiction lens.
The series features direction by Jun Kawagoe, known for his work on various mecha and action-oriented titles. The character designs were handled by Kazuya Kuroda, who aimed for a distinct aesthetic that balanced rugged, grounded soldier archetypes with stylized, futuristic weaponry. Upon its release, the series was received as a niche addition to the mid-2000s anime landscape, noted primarily by genre enthusiasts for its animation quality and its grim, persistent atmosphere.
