Inyouchuu Shoku: Ryoushokutou Taimaroku

Inyouchuu Shoku: Ryoushokutou Taimaroku is a 2008 adult-oriented original video animation produced by Milky Animation Label. The title emerged during a period when the studio was active in producing high-concept, genre-blending works that combined supernatural elements with the conventions of the adult anime industry, often drawing inspiration from folklore or darker fantasy themes to differentiate their catalog from more mainstream titles of the era.

The production sought to balance intricate character designs with the specific aesthetic expectations of the 2000s Japanese adult animation market. While the animation style was typical of the mid-2000s Milky label output, the series received attention primarily from niche enthusiasts of the studio’s house style. It remains a representative example of how smaller independent studios navigated the specific production constraints and thematic tropes prevalent in the 2008 direct-to-video market.
