In Your Pocket

In Your Pocket was a series of portable electronic voice boxes produced by the studio Dwarf during the late 1990s and early 2000s. These handheld devices were designed as novelty items, typically featuring a small array of buttons that, when pressed, played iconic sound bites from specific pop culture figures or television series. The design prioritized portability and immediate gratification, targeting the burgeoning market for desktop toys and humorous gifts.

The development of the series reflected the era's fascination with condensed media and collectible audio snippets. By stripping famous personalities down to their most recognizable catchphrases, Dwarf created a niche product that appealed to fans wanting a tangible connection to their favorite shows. While reception varied by character, the devices achieved a cult following as quintessential office desk accessories that captured a distinct moment in pre-smartphone digital entertainment.
