Inyouchuu Shoku: Ryoushokutou Taimaroku - Kanzenhan was released in 2010 by the Milky Animation Label, a studio operating within the specialized niche of adult animation. This production belongs to the Inyouchuu franchise, which has roots in early 1990s adult visual novel media and is characterized by its blend of dark fantasy, supernatural horror, and explicit content. The Kanzenhan, or complete edition, was compiled to package the series with refined production values, serving as a definitive retrospective for long-term fans of the studio's stylistic choices during that era.

The visual direction of this release adheres to the conventions established by Milky Animation's house style, emphasizing high-contrast character designs and atmospheric, occult-inspired settings. As an entry in the long-running Inyouchuu lineage, it was designed to capitalize on the cult following the series garnered through its blend of monster-focused narratives and traditional animation techniques. Upon its release, it was received primarily as a collector's piece for enthusiasts of the specific subgenre, representing a distillation of the creative efforts that defined the studio's output during the late 2000s.
