Issho ni Training 026: Bathtime with Hinako & Hiyoko

Released in 2010 by the studio Primastea, Issho ni Training 026: Bathtime with Hinako & Hiyoko serves as a niche entry in the Issho ni Training series. This franchise was developed during the late 2000s as a hybrid of anime-style entertainment and interactive fitness, intended to encourage viewers to participate in exercise routines alongside animated characters. The aesthetic follows the established visual conventions of the series, focusing on lighthearted, moe-inspired character designs aimed at fostering a sense of companionship for the viewer during repetitive physical movements.

The production sought to blend the domestic comfort of a casual anime slice-of-life setting with functional training prompts. While the series gained a modest reputation as a curiosity within the otaku community for its unconventional approach to instructional media, the Bathtime entry leaned further into the character-interaction aspect of the brand. Reception has generally characterized the release as a stylistic artifact of its era, noted primarily for its specific tone and the distinctive, repetitive nature of its instructional content.
