Based on the erotic game by Speed.
Extracurricular club activities are the norm for Japanese schools, but an all-night movie event scheduled at school and in August still sounds strange/unusual, especially considering the tiny size of the Movie Research Club (merely six students). And indeed, the two teachers supporting this novelty have hidden motives/objectives, although also the six students themselves chose to participate in the event for personal/secret reasons...

Where it came from
Kansen: Inyoku no Rensa is a two-part adult original video animation released in 2009 by the studio Suzuki Mirano. The work falls within the specific niche of early 2000s Japanese erotic animation, a period characterized by experimental digital animation techniques and the adaptation of adult-oriented visual novel or manga source material. It reflects the aesthetic trends of the era, focusing on atmospheric narrative structure common to independent adult studios operating during that time.
The production sought to capitalize on the increasing availability of direct-to-video erotic content for specialized adult markets. Like many projects from boutique studios of the period, the design and direction prioritized stylized character art and thematic intensity over broad commercial appeal. While the work received limited attention outside of its dedicated subculture, it remains a documented example of the prolific output from the adult animation industry during the late 2000s.
