Where it came from
Kyoufuu All Back is a seminal Vocaloid song released in May 2023 by the Japanese producer Yukopi, featuring the voice of the Vocaloid character Kaai Yuki. The track emerged during a period of resurgence for Vocaloid music on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, quickly gaining widespread popularity for its minimalist production, catchy rhythm, and the humorous, relatable animation style of its official music video.
The song's design centers on a stark, repetitive aesthetic where the character is depicted with a wind-swept hairstyle, representing the titular 'all back' look. Yukopi, who is known for his signature simple yet infectious musical style, intentionally utilized a stripped-back arrangement that allowed the melody and the character's persona to drive the viral appeal. It was met with immediate acclaim within the internet music community, spawning countless fan covers, dance challenges, and parodies across international social media.
