In the space history year of 0375, the killing Plan of Esper and the Imperial Plan met with failure. Run, who had executed these plans because of his partiality for his own self-made computer named Elena, lived together with Locke and Near under their protection. At the same time, Cassandra and Barcov of the Hackers netted the widely dispersed computers in each corner of space, and they succeeded in reviving some abandoned programs. This was the federal administrative computer, Elena. She tried to start the previous Imperial Plan again. When Locke found out about it, he set off to stop it. At the same time, the federal administration which detected something abnormal, also started to move. Involving Run and Near who chased Locke, the confusion was expanding to the entire Galaxy...

Where it came from
The Locke the Superman: Mirror Ring was produced by SIDO in 2000 to commemorate the enduring legacy of Yuki Hijiri's iconic manga and anime character. As an extension of the franchise that first gained popularity in the late 1970s and through the 1984 film, the item was designed to appeal to long-time fans seeking a tangible connection to Locke's psychic abilities and his stoic, cosmic persona. The ring serves as a minimalist aesthetic nod to the sci-fi epic, focusing on sleek, futuristic lines that mirror the clean, space-age character designs of the source material.
The production coincided with a period of renewed interest in vintage 80s space opera titles, utilizing the Mirror Ring as a functional piece of character-inspired jewelry. The design aesthetic reflects a shift toward more subtle, wearable merchandise, moving away from purely decorative collectibles toward items that integrate into the daily life of the enthusiast. While the item remains a niche collectible, it is regarded by the community as a thoughtful acknowledgment of the series' philosophical undertones and its prominent place in the history of Japanese science fiction.
