Mahou Shoujo? Naria☆Girls

Mahou Shoujo? Naria☆Girls is a 2016 television anime series produced by the studio Bouncy. The project was conceived as an experimental attempt to utilize real-time motion capture technology alongside the Unity game engine to produce an anime series. The narrative follows three protagonists who gain magical powers and attempt to increase the popularity of their own show within the internal logic of the series.

The production is widely regarded for its unconventional aesthetic, which resulted from the constraints of its high-speed production schedule and reliance on automated animation techniques. Due to the jarring visual style and improvisational nature of the dialogue, the series became a notable subject of discussion within the anime community, often cited as a distinct example of the limitations and unique outcomes associated with real-time digital animation tools during that period.
