A parody-esque epilogue to both Shamanic Princess and Mahou Tsukai Tai!.
As a marketing ploy back when Shamanic Princess was first released, buyers who purchased all six first edition LD's of both Shamanic Princess and Magic User's Club, and sent in their proof of purchases before a deadline received a special OVA entitled Shamanic Princess vs. Magic User's Club. It was never sold in stores and was a special omake by the series' creators to the fans. The OVA contains an epilogue to both series, which is fitting considering they both came out at the same time.

Where it came from
Released during the late 1990s, this title serves as a promotional collaboration between two distinct entries in the Bandai Visual catalog. Mahou Tsukai Tai!, or Magic User's Club, originated as a six-episode OVA series in 1996 that blended whimsical magical girl tropes with a grounded, slice-of-life school setting. Shamanic Princess, meanwhile, emerged in 1996 as a more somber and atmospheric dark fantasy work, known for its intricate world-building and character-driven narrative.
This specific package was designed as a curated double feature to highlight the breadth of Bandai Visual’s experimental OVA output at the time. By pairing the lighthearted, character-centric approach of Magic User's Club with the moody, high-concept aesthetic of Shamanic Princess, the studio sought to appeal to a broad demographic of early anime collectors. The design of the release emphasizes the visual contrast between the two styles, showcasing the varied artistic directions championed by the studios involved during this transitional period in the medium.
