Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori

Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori was produced by Ajiado and aired beginning in 2005 as a direct continuation of the popular anime adaptation of Yutaka Hara's long-running children's book series. The project emerged from the enduring success of the character Zorori, a mischievous fox who aspires to be the King of Pranksters, and was designed to capture the whimsical, episodic nature of the source material for a new generation of television viewers.

The animation style was helmed by the team at Ajiado, who sought to translate Hara's distinctively bold and comedic illustrative style into a fluid motion medium. The series was well-received by younger audiences for its blend of slapstick humor, inventive gadgets, and the earnest, if flawed, personality of its protagonist. It remains a notable example of early 2000s Japanese children's television that successfully balanced traditional cel-style character designs with the evolving pacing of modern anime.
