Shout and Crunchy are "trash throw away-ers" who work in the dead of night. Makina is a 16-year-old witch who has come to the world of humans and to London to study for one year about how to become a proper bride. But Makina searches for Shout and Crunchy, and begs them to throw away her "Witch's Book." Truthfully, Makina wants to quit being a witch and become a normal girl, and the book is just a hindrance. But the book is not something one can simply just throw away.

Where it came from
Midnight Crazy Trail was released in 2018 by Picona Creative Studio as an experimental short film that sought to push the boundaries of digital animation techniques. The project emerged from a period of creative exploration within the studio, aiming to blend surrealist visual storytelling with a high-contrast aesthetic that pushed hardware rendering limits at the time.
The film's visual identity was spearheaded by the studio’s internal design team, who focused on long-exposure light trails and atmospheric lighting to evoke a sense of nocturnal movement. While it was not a traditional narrative feature, it received recognition within independent animation circles for its technical ambition and its departure from conventional studio art styles.
