Based on the erotic game by NekoNeko Soft.
Mizuiro tells the scenario of two girls who like Kenji a lot.
The first episode covers Yuki's story, Kenji's younger sister, whose obsession with her brother makes her sad. This is especially considering they're brother and sister, despite being fact that Yuki was adopted by Kenji's father.
The second episode goes through clumsy Hiyori's story, where she appears out of Kenji's dresser - naked and ghost-like, trying to convince Kenji to fall in love with her, even though Hiyori does not remember why she appears out of dresser.

Where it came from
Mizuiro was produced by Studio ARMS in 2002 as a two-episode original video animation (OVA) adaptation of the visual novel originally developed by NEC Interchannel. The project emerged during a period when many adult-oriented visual novels were being transitioned into anime formats to capitalize on the growing demand for character-driven stories within the medium. This adaptation focused on the romantic entanglements and complex interpersonal dynamics central to the source material.
The character design and visual direction for the OVA aimed to capture the distinct aesthetic of the early 2000s bishoujo genre, characterized by soft linework and expressive facial features intended to evoke a specific emotional response from the audience. Upon release, the series was received primarily by the existing fanbase of the visual novel, serving as a supplementary visual experience that brought the game's static sprites into motion.
