When D'Artagnan went to Tokyo for a little fun, she spotted an unforgetable sight: Lucifer singing while basking in moonlight in a park. From that moment, no matter if she was asleep or awake, D'Artagnan's heart would not stop throbbing for some reason.
One day, D'Artagnan sees a concert by the popular idol act Angely Diva at her friend Izumo's invitation. There, she resolved to follow her idol dreams, and the story of song and miracles begins.

Where it came from
Monster Strike 2: MSonic! D'Artagnyan's Rise to Fame was produced in 2017 by studio LIDENFILMS as an original net animation spin-off within the expansive Monster Strike multimedia franchise. The project served to broaden the narrative horizons of the mobile game's characters, transitioning them from purely mechanical units into protagonists of a character-driven musical narrative. By focusing on the character D'Artagnyan, the production team aimed to deepen player emotional investment through a lighthearted, performance-centric storyline.
The animation style and design choices reflect the bright, high-energy aesthetic consistent with the broader Monster Strike universe, emphasizing vibrant character models and polished sequences intended for digital streaming. Directed to appeal to the game's core demographic while attracting a wider audience interested in idol-themed media, the work received moderate attention as a promotional creative vehicle. It remains a notable example of how mobile gaming franchises utilized serialized animation to foster a transmedia ecosystem during the mid-2010s.
