“33 minutes and 33 seconds we need before the end of this world.”
A dying earth. Mood Hall, a magical game played by the surviving people. A mysterious middle-aged gentleman and a beautiful woman who appear and disappear. Little People. Giants. Party. Deserts. The bottom of the pool. Dance. Repeated day and night. A dense labyrinthine world of experimental, artistic, adventurous, half-sci-fi, half-mystery sketches. A masterpiece of a film that takes you to a world where you can only see and hear, without words!

Where it came from
Mood Hall is a surrealist short film project characterized by its experimental approach to atmospheric storytelling. It emerged from a specific niche of avant-garde independent filmmaking that prioritizes mood and sensory experience over traditional narrative structure, often utilizing low-fi aesthetic choices to ground the viewer in a dreamlike state. The work is representative of mid-2010s digital art house projects that gained traction through curated film festivals and online cinephile communities.
The design of the film centers on unconventional editing techniques and a haunting, minimalist soundscape. The creators focused on a non-linear visual language intended to evoke specific emotional responses rather than conveying a coherent plot. Upon its release, it was noted primarily for its distinct visual identity and its contribution to a growing trend of short-form psychological horror, earning praise from critics who favor minimalist storytelling and abstract visual composition.
