Where it came from
Moving Colors was released in 2016 by the studio Decovocal, emerging during a period of experimentation within independent animation. The project was conceived as an exploration of abstract visual narratives, focusing on the intersection of kinetic art and digital soundscapes rather than traditional character-driven storytelling.
The production design reflects a minimalist aesthetic, favoring fluid gradients and rhythmic geometric shifts over rigid structures. While the film remained an niche entry within the independent film circuit, it garnered interest from critics who noted its technical proficiency and the studio's departure from conventional animated formats.
