Where it came from
Muteki-kyuu*Believer is a 2017 maxi-single released by the Japanese idol project Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The track serves as a centerpiece for the group, emphasizing the high-energy, personal ambition themes that define the sub-unit experience within the broader franchise. Lantis produced the release to coincide with the introduction of new character dynamics and to expand the franchise's music catalog beyond the established Aqours and μ's groups.
The musical direction and visual aesthetic were crafted to highlight the individualistic nature of the Nijigasaki members, contrasting with the school-wide group focus of earlier installments. Critics and listeners generally received the release as a pivotal entry in the series, noting its polished production values and its success in establishing a distinct, solo-centric identity for the new generation of performers under the Lantis label.
