Nami Hexin - NG Scenes - Nano's Daily Life

Nami Hexin, or 'Nano's Daily Life,' was produced by Coastline Animation Studio as a series of short-form original net animation (ONA) segments. These scenes were created to capitalize on the rising popularity of slice-of-life digital content in the Chinese animation market, offering brief, humorous vignettes centered on the protagonist’s mundane but quirky interactions. The production utilized a clean, digital aesthetic typical of contemporary web-based animation designed for mobile consumption.

The character design and visual direction for the series prioritized a balance between expressive, exaggerated facial animations and a minimalist color palette. By focusing on situational comedy, the studio aimed to build a relatable connection with a younger, online-first demographic. Upon its release, the series was received as a lighthearted expansion of the broader Nami Hexin multimedia franchise, praised primarily for its polished animation quality despite the brevity of the individual scenes.
