The children's anime revolves around Velonica, a high-handed and ultra-selfish little alien girl on the Galaxy Network, who begins to cause havoc on Earth. After a “fated encounter” with an Earthling boy, Velonica wavers between a possible budding romance with the boy and her dedication to the arts.

Where it came from
Nandaka Velonica is an animated television series produced by Cyclone Graphics and released in 2014. The project emerged during a period of experimentation within the Japanese animation industry, where studios were increasingly exploring digital-first production workflows and niche stylistic presentations to distinguish their work in a crowded market.
The series is characterized by the distinct visual signature of Cyclone Graphics, a studio noted for its specialized approach to cel-shaded 3D animation and experimental digital composites. While the show functioned as a creative exercise for the studio's technical capabilities, it remains a recognized entry in their portfolio for its effort to marry traditional character design sensibilities with modern computer-generated aesthetics.
