Natsuiro Kiseki: 15-kaime no Natsuyasumi

Natsuiro Kiseki: 15-kaime no Natsuyasumi serves as an original video animation companion to the 2012 television anime series Natsuiro Kiseki, produced by studio Sunrise. The project was conceived as an extension of the primary narrative, which follows four middle school friends in the Japanese town of Shimoda who discover a wish-granting stone at a local shrine. This OVA was created to provide a concluding epilogue, offering fans a final look at the characters' interpersonal dynamics as they navigate their youth and the supernatural elements introduced in the television run.

The animation features the character designs of Saki Hiwatari, which were refined for the screen by Yūichi Tanaka to maintain the ethereal, lighthearted aesthetic characteristic of the show's slice-of-life genre. Directed by Seiji Mizushima, the production sought to capture the specific atmosphere of a nostalgic Japanese summer, utilizing the coastal setting of Shimoda as a central visual motif. Upon its release, the OVA was received as a modest, dedicated capstone for the series' existing fanbase, reflecting the studio's commitment to finalizing the character arcs explored throughout the original twelve episodes.
