Nyuru Nyuru!! KAKUSEN-kun 2

Nyuru Nyuru!! KAKUSEN-kun 2 is the second season of a surreal animated series produced by the Japanese studio DLE, which debuted in 2015. The series builds upon the premise of the original 2013 show, which centered on a personified blackhead named Kakusen-kun living within the skin of a human host. The franchise is a hallmark of DLE's signature low-budget, Flash-animation style, which frequently utilizes absurdist humor and rapid-fire dialogue to explore the mundane lives of microscopic creatures.

The character designs and narrative approach were spearheaded by DLE’s creative team, known for their ability to turn niche, often gross-out concepts into mainstream bite-sized comedy segments. The series was designed to fit into short-form broadcasting windows, catering to late-night audiences who appreciate quirky, unconventional animation. It was received as a lighthearted expansion of the initial concept, maintaining the aesthetic constraints and playful, grotesque sensibility that defined the first installment.
